When in doubt, steal a mandate from one of the other photo sites...
Some ideas:
"Weird Science" - Good photos taken using unusual gear/methods, eg;
reversing-ring macros, pinhole cameras, LensBaby, T/S lenses, home-made
cameras, throwaway film cameras, camera-phones.
"Faces" - As the name suggests.
"Great Screwups" - Shots you screwed up, but which ended up looking good
anyway.
"Pets" - As the name suggests, but preferably avoiding the standard cliches.
"Textures" - Interesting textures.
