Haven't been shooting much lately. Was out west for work and
drove past this dam so seized the opportunity.

Tricky subject to expose. Black feathers, reflections off water
both at extremes. Happy with the result. And I liked the way
the upper left birds are looking back at the highest
"regal-looking" one. :)

I'm a bit distracted by the grass in foreground, and the 2 birds
far bottom left blocked by the branch.

Nice work Troy.

Problem with your stuff is that your self-critiques are perfectly
accurate, so there is little more to say! May I simply suggest that
after these shoots, as you are getting them to sign the releases, tell
them that their pay rates will stay low until they do what they are
told... (O;

(Was most impressed by your astro work recently, too I'm a bit out of
the photography loop at the moment - too busy.. but I'll be back..)

Nice one, Piggo. That grass makes the bottom left corner a bit hazy, but
nothing major. Always hard to expose these fellas.
Gotta redo this one:

in Astia, I'm sure it'll be a lot better. Not too bad with the NPS but I still
don't like the colours in that film.
